Diagnostic technology

REVO OCT

Advanced SD-OCT imaging for detailed retina, macula, optic nerve, and anterior segment evaluation, enabling early diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular disorders.

Overview

How it works

The OPTOPOL REVO OCT provides high-resolution, micron-level cross-sectional imaging of the retina, macula, optic nerve, and anterior segment, enabling the early detection, diagnosis, and monitoring of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular diseases, and other vision-threatening conditions.

Key benefits

  • Non-contact and painless
  • Detects disease before symptoms
  • Tracks treatment response

What we use it for

  • Diabetic macular oedema — Measures and monitors retinal thickening.
  • Glaucoma Screening (RNFL Analysis) — Precisely measures the retinal nerve fibre layer thickness around the optic disc to detect early glaucomatous damage years before visual field defects become noticeable.
  • Anti-VEGF Injection Monitoring — Objective OCT measurements of central retinal thickness guide injection intervals and confirm treatment response in wet AMD and diabetic macular oedema patients.
  • Anterior segment OCT analysis — Assess and analyze anterior segment diseases accurately and helps in early mangment to prevents permanent vision loss
  • Biometry — Helps in accurately assesing axial length to guide precise and accurate cataract surgeries and ICL implants
